Inclusive App Craft

The challenge

Digital technology is often designed and built without adequately considering the full range of people who need to use it, particularly persons with disabilities. At the same time, many organisations and technology professionals lack the tools, practical skills, and technical expertise required to identify, prevent, and remediate these barriers. Inclusive App Craft was founded based on three core problems:

1. Inaccessible digital products
Websites and applications may technically work but still exclude users through barriers such as keyboard-inaccessible controls, poorly labelled forms, inaccessible images, bad focus management, inaccessible dynamic content, poor screen-reader support, and other accessibility defects.
I built a system that can help organisations find accessibility barriers, manage their remediation, verify fixes, and monitor accessibility over time. That is the WebScan accessibility system.

2. Accessibility knowledge and technical-skills gap
Another part of the problem is human capacity. Developers, designers, content creators, organisations, and learners may not have sufficient practical knowledge of accessibility and inclusive technology.
In view of this, I have also built a learning portal to Equip individuals and organisations with practical technology and accessibility skills so they can create and maintain better digital products themselves.

3. Organisations still need someone capable of building the technology correctly
Finding accessibility problems and teaching accessibility aren't enough. A startup, NGO, university, company, or institution may simply need someone to build its website or application.
So I Design and develop accessible, secure, maintainable websites and web applications with accessibility considered from the beginning rather than retrofitted after deployment.

What we built

Inclusive App Craft addresses the digital accessibility gap through three connected solutions:
